First we must find out the slope of the points

The equation for slope is

(y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

Let's plug in our points

(3 - 3 )/(5 -1 )  = (0)/(4)

Our slope is 0

When lines are parallel, that means we have they have the same slope

So a line that is parallel to r would have a slope of 0!
