PLEASE HELP ME I CANT MATH!!!! the possibility of drawing a black marble from the bag is 1/2, and the probabilitity of drawing a white marble from the same bag is 1/4 what is the probability of drawing a white marble, replacing it, then drawing a black one? A) 1/8 B) 1/3 C) 3/4

Let

P(A) be the event that white marble is drawn

P(B) be the event that black marble is drawn

P(A) = 1/4

P(B) = 1/2

Both events A and B are independent as the first marble is put back before drawing the second marble. So the probabilities of two independent events are multiplied.

P(A and B) = P(A) * P(B)

= 1/4 * 1/2

=1/8

Option A is the correct answer..
