1)Given

inΔVWU, ∠V= 75°

∠U= 50°

Finding ∠W:

∠W= 180-(75+50)

=180-(125)

= 55

Now finding x, using law of sine

x/sinV = 13/sinW

Putting the values in above we get:

x/sin75=13/sin55

Re-arranging, we get:

x= 13sin75/sin55 !
