Level 1: Plants and algae make their own food and are called producers.

Level 2: Herbivores eat plants and are called primary consumers.

Level 3: Carnivores that eat herbivores are called secondary consumers.

Level 4: Carnivores that eat other carnivores are called tertiary consumers.

Hi, hope you’re having a great day!

Answer:

A tropic level is the number of steps(levels) it is from the start of the chain.

There are 4 levels:

  1. Primary producers (like plants and stuff). Example: an algae or any plant
  2. Herbivores (animals who eat the plans). Example: a deer
  3. Carnivores (animals that eat the herbivores). Example: a crocodile
  4. Apex predators (Animal with no other predator, most of the time)Example: a lion

Thanks for taking your time to read this. Have a good day!❤️❤️
