The volume is equal to

we have

substitute


V=12*4*5=240\ in^(3)

step 2

Find the volume of the rectangular pyramid

The volume is equal to


V=(1)/(3)LWh

we have


L=12\ in


W=4\ in


h=10\ in ----> height of the rectangular pyramid

substitute


V=(1)/(3)(12)(4)(10)=160\ in^(3)

step 3

Adds the volumes


240\ in^(3)+160\ in^(3)=400\ in^(3)
