Mark buys a wooden board that is 7 1/2 feet long. The cost of the wooden board is $0.50 per foot, but he has a coupon that will take off 20% of his total cost. How much will Mark’s board cost, after his discount?

Answer:

3:00

Explanation:

first multiply 0.50 times 7.5

then you get 3.75

lastly u convert the percent to a decimal and multiply by 3.75 which is .75 and u just subtract that off the original price

hope this helps :)
