Concept: Linear System
You indicated that it has a solution of (2,0)
For two equations to have a solution that means that they cross directly at that point and when plugged in gives a direct answer that equal each other
Lets prove it
y=2(2)-4= 0 Hence true
y=-(2)+2= 0 Hence true
So we can say that (2,0) is a solution that satisfies both equations.
