Standard deviation is a number used to tell how measurements for a group are spread out from the average (mean), or expected value. A low standard deviation means that most of the numbers are close to the average. A high standard deviation means that the numbers are more spread out.

It is a measure of the average distance between the values of the data in the set and the mean. A low standard deviation indicates that the data points tend to be very close to the mean; a high standard deviation indicates that the data points are spread out over a large range of values.

So, good standard deviation is 5 = Very Good, 4 = Good, 3 = Average, 2 = Poor, 1 = Very Poor, The mean score is 2.8 and the standard deviation is 0.54.

Hope this helps :)
