The answer is 125° = x because the exterior angle is 55°, from adding up all the exterior angles to ensure they add up to 360°. Then, you would have to use the Supplementary Angeles Theorem to find the obtuse measure beside that 55° exterior angle: 55 + m<x = 180. This is how you get 125° = m<x. You understand?
