If i flip three fair coins what is the probability that exactly one of the coins will end up heads​

Answer: 3/6 or simplified 1/2

Explanation:

Since there are 3 coins we times the 3 by how many sides we have in 1 coin:

3×2=6

So there are 6 sides, so that is the bottom number (/6)

Then how many times can we land on heads? 3

So that is the top number:

3/6

Which can be simplified to 1/2
