Sprouts as an unformed thought from deep inside

They’re welcomed to life with arms open wide

A true blessing bestowed upon the world

Seeds for potential miracles are sown

But also feelings of hatred unfurl

Abash’d and tossed amid life’s ebb an’ flow

No parent should ever outlive their young

Though many hardships they may endure

Like callow melodies light on your tongue

Dreams are like children, so simple and pure

We want to watch them as they change and grow
