I'm wondering what it looks like as a problem? Though how do I solve this?

Explanation:

So you would do BEDMAS. First answer what in the brackets (3 ∙ 18.50=55.50)Then you subtract 55.50 on both sides

2x=104.50. then you just divide two by each side and the x will equal 24.50 So they parents tickets were 24.50.
