How successful were the americans at the beginning of the revolutional war​

At the beginning they were quite successful, that is because the French were helping them along with a few and i mean maybe a handful of native tribes, however later into the war, once the British begins catching up, they start to lose many men this is because the British were very well trained and had the help of many tribes along with assassins from Germany! although we do triumph in the end it isn’t without great loss.

They were pretty successful because they had help from the French. A decade before the war tensions had started between the colonists and the British authorities.
