Explanation:


(1)/(2) log(x) + log(4) = 2

then


log( {x}^{ (1)/(2) } ) + log(4) = 2 \\ log(4 √(x) ) = 2 \\ 4 √(x) = {10}^(2) = 100 \\ √(x) = 25 \\ x = {25}^(2) = 625

I don't know if your Log is natural logarithm then


4 √(x) = {e}^(2) \\ √(x) = (e ^(2) )/(4) \\ x = \frac{ {e}^(4) }{16}
