Using the Vertical Method to multiply these two polynomials, fill in the values for A, B, and C

A) A=8x^2,b=6x^3,c=-23x
B)A=8x^2,b=6x^3,c=7x
C)A=-8x^2,b=6x^3,c=-23x
D)A=8x^2,b=6x^3,c=23x

Answer:

C)A=-8x^2,b=6x^3,c=-23x

Explanation:

As per vertical Method to multiply

for A

1st partial product = -4(5x^3-2x^2+2x+5), so 2nd term i.e. A is

-4 (-2x^2)= 8x^2

for B

2nd partial product= -3x(5x^3-2x^2+2x+5), so 2nd term i.e. B is

-3x(-2x^2)=6x^3

for C

Final product= sum of two partial products, C is

-8x-15x=-23x
