Answer: 50cm squared

Explanation:

First we need to find the side lengths,

In order to find the area you do,

A = Length x height

we know that the area is 144 and the length is 16.

144=16 x height

144 = 16 x ?

So know we need to find the height, so we do 144/16= 9

so the height 9 cm.

The question is not asking for the height, but the peremeter.

Peremeter = (Length x 2) + (height x 2)

peremeter= 16 x 2 + 9 x 2

peremeter = 32+18

peremeter = 50 cm squared

so the peremeter is 50 cm squared.

hope this helps,

have a great day,
