For this case we have that by definition, the slope of a line is given by:

m = \frac {y_ {2} -y_ {1}} {x_ {2} -x_ {1}}

We must find two points through which the line passes:

(x_ {1}, y_ {1}) :( 2,3)\\(x_ {2}, y_ {2}}: (- 3,1)

Substituting:

m = \frac {1-3} {- 3-2} = \frac {-2} {- 5} = \frac {2} {5}

Answer:

m = \frac {2} {5}
