A red parent flower was crossed with a white parent flower to produce all red flowers in the first generation. If two red flowers from the first generation were crossed to produce a 3:1 ratio of red to white in the second generation, then what is the genotype if the original red flower parent and white flower parent?

Answer:Red is Dominate white is Submissive

Explanation: because the first generation had majority Red but were able to produce White in the second generation white has to be submissive
