Answer:

Women have had increased educational opportunities that led to employment and empowerment

Step-by-step explanation:

With the process of globalization and through the spreading of the Western culture, more and more countries in the world started to give the women equal rights and equal opportunities. This led to the women being able to get well educated, which in turned meant that they became skillful to work in sectors in which they were not previously. The fact that the women started to get jobs, especially well paid jobs, meant that they are much more independent, thus leading to empowerment. There are still lot of problems with the rights of women, especially when it comes to the Muslim countries, as in lot of them the women are still suppressed and only restricted to housework.
