Step by step answer.

g / -1 + 10 < 7

-g + 10 < 7

-g + 10 - 10 < 7 - 10

-g < -3

-g / -1 < -3 / -1

g > 3 --) answer

The reason why the sign is filpped is that because of g is the opposite of -g and if -g was less than 3 then g is greater than 3.
