you substitute x=0

into y=abs(x)-4

you get y=0 -4= -4

so x=0 y= -4

look at each graph

then substitute y=0

into y=abs(x) -4

you get 0= abs(x) -4

4=abs(x)

x=4 or x=-4

so you will find it`s graph 2
