The United Nations has four main goals:

-To keep peace throughout the world

-To develop friendly relations among nations

-To help nations work together to improve the lives of poor people, to encourage respect for the rights and freedoms of people around the world, and to conquer hunger, disease, and illiteracy

-To be a center for harmonizing the actions of nations to achieve these goals

What about the history of nuclear weapons development in North Korea might be a threat to the goals of the United Nations? What do you think the United Nations can or should do to address the issue in North Korea?

North Korea is in a odd place, I think it is a threat to our safety, but the people have been so indoctrinated it is difficult for the UN to help.
