Answer:

The original number of cars in parking Lot A was 72 cars and the original number of cars in parking Lot B was 36 cars

Explanation:

Let

x----> original number of cars in parking Lot A

y----> original number of cars in parking Lot B

we know that

x=2y ----> equation A

(x-10-13)=y+13 ----> equation B

substitute equation A in equation B and solve for y

(2y-10-13)=y+13

(2y-23)=y+13

2y-y=13+23

y=36 cars

Find the value of x

x=2y -----> x=2(36)=72 cars

therefore

The original number of cars in parking Lot A was 72 cars

The original number of cars in parking Lot B was 36 cars
