if you mean Bay of Pigs, which i think you do, then here is the answer. The Bay of Pigs was an invasion of Cuba by United States. The invasion failed and Fidel Castro was allowed to stay in government. Fidel Castro was a communist leader put in by the Soviet Union to help communize Cuba, Cuba is close to the United States and we didn't want communism that close to us. This failed attempt led to the Cuban Missile Crisis which increased tensions even more
