I believe that one's language does not force a person to think about time., why? For example, if your native language is English, Spanish, Portuguese or any other language, it will be adhered to your language to do it like that and maybe you do not know how to explain that, you just do it naturally and effortless but on the other hand, if you are learning a new language, you are forced to think about time because you think about structuring a sentence in a good way and paying attention to all grammar tenses (present, past, future, present perfect, past continuous, etc) and if this is your occupation you have to speak that language perfectly and all the time you will be correcting yourself and doing the best you can.
