OL=OM=5 units ( ∵ Radii of same circle)

In ΔOMP, by Pythagoras theorem


OM^2=MP^2+OP^2


5^2=4^2+OP^2


OP^2=25-16=9

ON=OP+NP


5=3+NP


NP=5-3=2\thinspace units
