Going to the movie the movie theater is great but watching movies at home is better. The snacks are cheaper, there aren't any tickets to pay for, and there aren't any annoying people either. However going to the movie theater is fun because it is a great experience, you get to say you've been to one, and going to the first screening of a movie that just came out is really fun. I prefer staying home because you don't have to go out, you are at the comfort of home and like I said earlier, there aren't any annoying people (besides family of course). Going to the movies to hangout with friends, go on a date or just to see a fun movie is a lot of fun. Especially scary movies. Scary movies I think are better at the theater because you can scream and do and say things you couldn't regularly say at home. Some people may prefer to stay at home for financial reasons and I totally get that. But who doesn't love a good movie?
