Plant cells have a
cell wall
– outside of the cell membrane- while animal cell only has the cell membrane.
Most plant cells are
autotrophs
– meaning they produce their own food from abiotic factors- while most animal cells are
heterotrophs
– meaning they ingest organic molecules for energy
