An electromagnetic spectrum is an arrangement of electromagnetic waves in order of increasing frequency and decreasing wavelengths.
The spectrum ranges from gamma rays which have the highest frequency and the shortest wavelength to radio waves which have the longest wavelength and the lowest frequency and energy.
Other electromagnetic waves in the spectrum are, microwaves, infrared, Visible light, ultra-violet radiation and X-rays.
