x in (-oo:+oo)

2/7 = x/14 // - x/14

2/7-(x/14) = 0

2/7-1/14*x = 0 // - 2/7

-1/14*x = -2/7 // : -1/14

x = -2/7/(-1/14)

x = 4

x = 4

i hope this helps
