In addition, many animals have plants as their natural habitat, when the plant is cut these animals are left without their habitat, exposed to predators and other problems that can cause their extinction.

We cannot forget that plants are one of the main providers of oxygen in our atmosphere, through photosynthesis. If the plant population decreases, the amount of photosynthesis performed decreases and, as a consequence, the amount of oxygen released into the atmosphere decreases.
