Answer: C) (x + 5i)(x - 5i)

Explanation:

x² + 25 can be rewritten as x² - (-25)

Now use the difference of squares to factor: a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)

√x² = x √-25 = 5i

--> x² + 25 = (x + 5i)(x - 5i)
