Answer: C) g(x) = 2ˣ⁻³ + 2

Explanation:

The general form of an exponential equation is: g(x) = 2ˣ⁻ᵃ + b where

  • "a" is a horizontal shift to the left if positive (or right if negative)
  • "b" is a vertical shift up if positive (or down if negative)

The new function is shifted UP 2 units and RIGHT 3 units

  • a = 3
  • b = 2

--> g(x) = 2ˣ⁻³ + 2
