hypotenuse² = height² + base²

here,

hypotenuse will be diameter of semicircle

height = 9

diameter = √(9²+4²)

diameter = √97

Step 2

Find radius

radius = diameter / 2

Step 3

Area

π(r)²

π(√97/2)²

= 76.18

Step 4

Total surface area = area of circle + area of right angle triangle

= 76.18 + 1/2(9)(4)

= 94.18
