Explanation:

If we have a function f(x) and we apply the transformation


y = f (x + h) then ::

If
h <0 the graph of f(x) moves horizontally h units to the right

If
h> 0 the grace of f(x) moves horizontally h units to the left

In this case we have the function f(x) and the point (0,7) and the transformation
y = f (x + 2)

Then
h = 2> 0. Therefore the graph of f(x) moves 2 units towards the left.

Therefore the point (0,7) moves 2 units to the left and we have the point (-2, 7) in the transformed function
