If the perimeter of the rectangle is 34 m, find its area.

Explanation:

With this question ,

The length of the rectangle is 3m longer than it's width=3 +w

then the width =w

therefore perimeter= 2L +2w

34= 2(3+w) +2w

34= 6+2w +2w

34-6 = 4w

28=4w

7= w

Area= Length x breadth

Area = (7+3) x7

Area= 10 x7

Area= 70cm square
