Then slope of the given equation which one of the parallel lines is calculated as;

10x – 4y = 24

4y = 10x - 24

divide through by "4'


(4y)/(4) = (10x)/(4) - (24)/(4) \\\\y = (5x)/(2) - 6

the slope , m is the coefficient of x, = ⁵/₂ (when compared to y = mx + c)

Therefore, the slope of the line is ⁵/₂.
