we know that

P=2(x+y)

so


66=2(x+y)

Simplify


33=x+y -----> equation A


x=2y+3 ----> equation B

Substitute equation B in equation A and solve for y


33=(2y+3)+y


2y+y=33-3


3y=30


y=10\ ft

Find the value of x
