Explanation:

The sum of the angles of a triangle equal 180 degrees

S + R + Q = 180

x+70 + x+ 20 + x = 180

Combine like terms

3x +90 =180

Subtract 90 from each side

3x+90-90 = 180-90

3x= 90

Divide by 3

3x/3= 90/3

x = 30

We want to find angle R

R = x+20

R = 30+20

R = 50
