Acceleration is the velocity made by a moving body per unit time. In other words is velocity per unit time. Acceleration is given by the formula;
Acceleration = (final velocity -initial velocity)/time. This means acceleration depends on time taken to attain a given velocity and velocity of the moving body.
The SI units of acceleration are; meters/square seconds(m/s²)
