Answer : The heat of vaporization is, 924.7 joules/gram.

Explanation :

Formula used for heat of vaporization :

H_(Vap)=(q)/(m)

where,

H_(Vap) = heat of vaporization = ?

q = required heat = 8720 J

m = mass of substance = 9.43 g

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get :

H_(Vap)=(8720J)/(9.43g)=924.7J/g

Therefore, the heat of vaporization is, 924.7 joules/gram.
