Your lab receives some new samples of CHNOPS saliva. one of the genes has 30 DNA nucleotides in it. how many amino acid monomers will be present in the completed polypeptide.

Each codon is made up of 3 nucleotides and all codons except the end codons code for one amino acid.

So 30/3=10 codons which code for a peptide with 9 amino acid monomers.
