Explanation:
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
X-values: 8 - 3 = 5 (length of a)
Y-values: 7 - 3 = 4 (length of b)
5^2 + 4^2 = c^2
25 + 16 = c^2
41 = c^2
square root (41) = c
c = 6.40
