I think you just plug in each point into the equation to see if they are the same number on both sides of the = sign.

(-2,3) ----> This is a solution to the equation

2(3) = -5(-2) - 4

6 = 10 - 4

6 = 6

(1,-4)

2(-4) = -5(1) - 4

-8 = -9

(0,2)

2(2)= -5(0) - 4

4 = -4

(-1,1)

2(1) = -5(-1) - 4

2 = 5 - 4

2 = 1
