Explanation:

substitute x for - 1 and substitute y for 4.

x - 2y = - 1 - 2 (4)

y - 2x = 4 - (2 -1)

then do the math for both of them and it should either be -7/2 or 7/2

Answer: -9/6

Explanation:

Substitute the value of X and Y into the equation. Therefore

X-2y

When X = -1 and when Y= 4

-1-2(4)

-1-8=-9

Y-2x

When X= -1 and when Y=4

4-2(-1)

When multiplying 2 negatives it becomes a positive so...

4+2=6
