Explanation:

Start by getting either the x or y values in both equations the same number but opposite sign. Ex 16 and -16. I did x. Then add the equations eliminating one variable, in mine it was x, and the solve for the other variable, in mine it was y. Then plug that variable back into one of the two original equations and solve for the other variable, in mine I solved for x.
