No. The slopes of parallel lines are equal.

Explanation:

If you have two lines and their slopes are the same, then the lines are parallel.

If the two lines have slopes that are negative reciprocals (opposite signs and flipped over) then when you multiply the slopes together, you get -1... THOSE lines are perpendicular (they make right angles or make 90° angles or square angles).

Lines in the same plane that have different slopes will intersect at one point.
