Answer:
To find the answer, I must 160/1,000 = .16, so .16 = q2 and q = .4. Since p + .4 (q) = 1, p (The dominant allele) = .6, which is the correct answer. A strategy I could use in the future to make the question less challenging is double checking the problem and how it is worded so I don’t make that mistake again.
