K of a body is that energy it possesses due to its movement and is defined as:


K=(1)/(2)mV^(2)

Where
m is the mass of the body and
V its velocity .

This has to do with the speed of an object and how much mass it has; basically how the object is moving.

Now, according to this equation and knowing that the mass of the buffalo is
m=300kg and its velocity
V=8m/s :


K=(1)/(2)(300kg)(8m/s)^(2)


K=9600J

Therefore the correct option is B.
