The answer would be (-1,0) because you just flip the shape and you need to find which point F is equivalent to, which is C. So once it’s flipped, you count 7 squares to the left from D.

Answer:

A.
(-1,4)

Explanation:

We have been given that ΔDEF is congruent to ΔABC. We are asked to find the possible coordinates of point F.

Since ΔDEF is congruent to ΔABC, so the point F will be in the line of point E and will be 7 units away from point E. Point F can be either in right or left direction.

We can see that coordinates of E are
(6,4), so the y-coordinate of point F will be same as point E. But x-coordinate will be different.

The x-coordinate of the point F could be either
6+7=13 or
6-7=-1.

So there are two possible coordinates for point F; that are
(13,4) and
(-1,4).

Upon looking at our given choices we can see that option A is the correct choice.
